Alice has two children at QPCS and another at primary school. She has been a parent governor since 2008 and hopes to continue.  She is Vice-Chair of the Curriculum committee, sits on the Admissions Working Group and the Children's Centre Committee.

As well as being link governor to the Humanities Faculty, she is a mentor to a student as part of the school's Career Academies scheme.  She was also instrumental in getting the Duke of Edinburgh scheme established at the school.
 
Alice is a town planner with over 20 years experience of working in the local authority sector.
