The governing board delegates specific tasks and responsibilities to committees and working groups.

Committees are given terms of reference which are agreed by the full governing body and each committee reports on its activities and resolutions at every full governing body meeting.

Working groups have no delegated authority to make decisions on behalf of the governing body but allow smaller groups of governors to consider issues in greater detail and the group can then make recommendations to the full governing body.
